Moonlight Reflection

Lingering moonlight waltzes on tiptoe,
Blooming droplets ebb and flow;
When all is gone and all is lost,
And all my heart has gone to frost;
If I on this still night look in,
And gaze upon a mirror thin;
Its surface shimmering, glimmering,
My heartbeat like wings a-fluttering;
Maybe in the dark I'll find what I seek,
Black pools of ink trickling down my cheek;
The world is silent for a while,
So that I may find a lone smile.
